Sensory Processing Disorders: An Introduction for Speech – Language Therapists by Karin Brinkmann

Pacific Speech Therapy and Learning Centre is proud to have Ms Karin Brinkmann from Netherlands in Penang, Malaysia for her world-renowned courses.

After having worked in her private practice in the Netherlands for 25 years, in 2016 Karin started focussing on mentoring SLP’s, OT’s and PT’s, teachers and (professional) caregivers. Her main specialty is children with speech (-motor) and language disorders, sensory processing disorders, and/or neurological disorders.

Karin: “I have been teaching workshops and speaking at conferences since the late 90’s, aiming to help professionals see what difference the understanding of ‘dynamic systems’ can make in helping our clients to develop speech, language, and feeding skills. I believe it can make treatment easier and more effective, while stressing the importance of working in a functional way”.

Karin travels around the world to teach about speech-motor development (PROMPT) and Sensory Processing in English, Dutch and German.
